Ready to try yoga? New to the neighborhood?
We offer yoga classes for every level. Come to class to chill out, work out, rejuvenate, re-connect, or just have some good old fun. We want your yoga practice to be whatever you would like it to be. All you have to do is show up.
Foundations is for anyone looking to slow down a bit, learn a lot, and focus on alignment and transitions. This class is great for beginners, first-time yogis, and welcomes anyone who feels like they aren’t flexible enough, young enough, or spiritual enough to practice yoga. You will find that in Foundations props just might become your best friends.
Vi (to put) Nyasa (in a special way). The focus is as much on the asanas as it is on how you move from one to the other. Experience flow (at times fast, other times slow), creative sequencing, and keen alignment cues. Anyone from beginners to savvy yogis will be on the mat beside you. You might sweat, but not because we turned up the heat.
Intermediate to advanced level class for everyone. Move your body according to the variations it can handle. Maybe find yourself in a new pose. Whether you'd like to improve your asana or you're advanced, this class will challenge not just your physical body, but also your Self, because the most mindful way to advance your asana is to strengthen the connection between your brain and your body.
Unwind and find some strength and space within the calm. In Slow Flow there is no reason to speed through poses or push yourself, but instead it's an opportunity to slow your practice down and listen to your own heartbeat. You can expect a more gentle sequence to heal and restore the mind and body and at times there will anything from blankets to bolsters, from pranyama to mudras.
You're invited to connect to yourself a little more fully, both on and off the mat. Much like Flow, but with a healthy dose of mantras, kriyas, chants, pranyama, mudras, and meditation (the yoga tools and practices that help release that which is not serving you), Intentions will create space for what ignites your soul. Let your yoga practice meet you right where you already are.
Yin Vin Restore
The holy trinity of yoga: Yin to release, Vinyasa to move, and Restorative to heal. Begin with Yin to balance the meridians, relax tight muscles, and release stuck fascia. Next, dive into a heart-pumping Vinyasa to synchronize breath and movement to the beat of the music. Then, grab bolsters and blankets and release it all as you float away on a cloud of restorative poses into a long, dreamy savasana.
Move & Meditate
Your chance to move slowly, unwind, connect, and explore a mediation practice. Pulling inspiration from Kundalini yoga, each class will begin with a short discussion on the day's theme and then flow into the breathwork, spinal energy work, gentle body movement, and ultimately meditation. And there's a strong likelihood that there will be chanting involved.
SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT*
See you on the rooftop
Monday: 6:30 - 7:30 PM
$10 Yoga + A beverage
Every Monday evening at 6:30 PM, you will find one of the Inhale teachers leading a class a few blocks away, nine floors up, at Hotel Monaco. In the warmer months, we move and breathe outside on the rooftop enjoying the city lights and warm nights. During the chillier months, we roll out our mats indoors and practice by candlelight. After class everyone is invited downstairs to The Commoner to sip on a beer or wine on the house.
Purchase Moonlight Mondays here. *Does not apply to class passes | Hotel Guests practice on the house.

"I had the pleasure of stumbling into Inhale during a business trip to Pittsburgh. The studio is spacious but cozy, and immediately got my relaxation response going. The instruction was competent, spirited, and supportive; I had several instructors during my brief stay and all were great. The management was remarkably open to ideas and was happy to tailor the students' experience to meet their needs. All in all, double thumbs up for Inhale, and I look forward to repeating the experience next time I'm in town." - Nathanial Katz
"I took a trip to Pittsburgh in June of 2017 and on that trip visited INHALE yoga and found that the instructors and the studio had that 'something special' sort of magic that is impossible to create unless those creating it have the right sort of intention. The studio was beautiful, the rooftop yoga was unique and totally amazing, and the teaching tone allowed me to proceed at my own pace, and since I was nursing an injury, was perfect for me. In short it encapsulated what yoga should do for you which is to help you make yourself better in body, mind and spirit." - Johnny Glanville
